Bicameral Research Sound & Projection System
I'll be playing on Wednesday night from 6-8pm at the Clocktower as part of David Linton's ongoing installation. If you haven't already been and experienced it, please come! Long beautiful drones and 4 part cello harmonies to be expected.
With his Bicameral Research Sound & Projection System Linton aims to make vibrational wave induced perceptual energy states manifest by deploying interconnected measures of electric sound & pulsing light in live action with hand manipulated objects in physical (live camera) space. He employs an integrated recursive audio & video feedback system of his own perversely simple design modulated by freehand intervention to deliver vigorous eye, ear, and - sometimes - body shaking realtime audio
David Linton's Bicameral Research Sound & Projection System sound and video installation entitled Cortical Degausser opens for public viewing on Wed Dec 7, 2011 in Studio 4 at the Clocktower Gallery on the 13th floor of 108 Leonard St in downtown Manhattan.
Viewing hours will be from 1:00 to 7:00 PM Monday through Friday and by special weekend appointment through the month until Dec 30th.
